This iReal editor is a tool to create song sheets for the iReal Pro app.
It is not affiliated with the iReal Pro app itself.

I wrote this to quickly compose from a blank sheet and send the result to my students (I'm a music teacher)
As we all know, the iReal Pro app is a fantastic music companion
but I was frustrated to compose using the edit function that the app offers (on an iPod Touch).

This web-based editor has limitations compared to the full editor in the app:

no option to set repeat signs

only basic styles selectable

I made it to compose a 32-bar chord sheet as fast and intuitive as possible, that's the main reason I didn't full-feature it.
I also wanted to make it platform independent, so one can compose sheets via a website instead of on a device that has the actual app installed.
The resulting chord sheet can therefore be e-mailed to any recipient after it's finalised.
